Volkssturm anti-tank rifle team for Bolt Action

During fist few games I discovered fact, that you need some AT element in your late war Bolt Action army. Panzerfausts have limited range, Panzerschreck is too expensive and Goliath too funky. So last thing remaining (except big guns and tanks) is old, good AT rifle.

Somebody my argue, that late war German army with AT rifle is non historical because it was absolote by that time... well, no in Volkssturm. Some units were even issiung old WW1 antique AT rifles and in some accounts, there are rumors about event musketes!

And these unit were also issued with many captured weapons.

So when i get my hands on Perry Miniatures british Boys AT rifle, I immediately knowed what to do.

To give them more "desperate feel" i made crewmans of HJ member (with spare tankist jacket being common issued to them) and the other one SA man. Both of them could saw combat together at end of war. With Green Stuff i sculpted arm sling fot HJ boy.

Since we have a dug in rules now, I make them some brick wall cover, that also ad more "urban fight" feel.

SA man is from Warlord games mix of Old and Blitzkrieg Germans with Perry miniatures Desert Rats AT gun. HJ boy is Valiant Miniatures tankist with green stuff.
