Also, small AAR from Marek: Japanese dive bombers attacked Wheeler Airfield. A few brave American pilots took off to face the superior forces, but they became entangled with the Zeros, allowing the bomber pilots to destroy their targets at the airfield unhindered. Despite the initial superiority of the Japanese, the dogfight ended in a draw. After the P-40 was shot down, the Zero was also shot down and the pilot captured.

However, the attack could not be repelled.
